Funding awarded from New Frontiers in Research Fund – Exploration stream for high-risk, high-reward Narratives of War project
The Reading Lab and collaborators received funding from the New Frontiers in Research Fund - Exploration 2023 competition for grant "The language of trauma in testimonies of the Russia-Ukraine war."
Victor Kuperman and Co-grantees Larysa Zasiekina (Co-Principal Investigator, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University), Serhii Zasiekin (Co-Applicant, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University) and Collaborator Myron Groover from the McMaster University Library William Ready Division of Archives and Research Collections have received funding from the New Frontiers in Research Fund – Exploration 2023 competition for grant “The language of trauma in testimonies of the Russia-Ukraine war.” The goal of the Exploration competition is to “inspire high-risk, high reward and interdisciplinary research”.
The research team will be continuing its work on the Narratives of War (NoW) Virtual Exhibit, a documentation of the experiences of Ukrainian people during the ongoing war in Ukraine.
